The College of Dentistry, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at our university, organized a scientific course titled "Assisted Reproductive Technologies and their Practical Applications: Exploring the Intersection of Science, Custom, and Religion," attended by a number of the college's faculty and staff members, alongside students.
The course aimed to shed light on the latest approved technologies in the field of assisted reproduction and explain their practical applications in light of rapid scientific developments. It also discussed the associated ethical, social, and religious dimensions, thereby enhancing the academic and professional awareness of the participants.
The course was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Ibrahim Raheem Al-Dulaimi, Lect. Dr. Rashad Rasheed Al-Taam, and Asst. Lect. Al-Hussein Ali Nasrallah. They reviewed the most prominent scientific developments in this field, presented practical models and case studies, and opened the door for dialogue and discussion to answer the attendees' questions.
This course comes as part of the college's efforts to hold scientific events that contribute to developing the skills of the teaching and administrative staff, and supporting the educational process to keep pace with modern scientific developments.
