The Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at Al-Ameed University organized a joyous ceremony on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Pure Lady, Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her). The event took place in the Imam Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Hall, attended by the University President's Assistants, alongside a number of university faculty, staff, and a gathering of students, to commemorate this fragrant occasion and recall its sublime meanings.
The ceremony commenced with a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran recited by student Mousa Ahmed from the College of Medicine. This was followed by poetic and chanting segments expressing the greatness and status of this occasion, with the participation of poet Mohammad Al-Fatimi and chanter Amir Mohammed, amidst a spiritual atmosphere filled with loyalty to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
The Director of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department at our university, Prof. Dr. Hassanain Adnan Al-Mousawi, stated in a declaration to the University Media that this ceremony comes as part of a series of cultural and religious activities the department is keen to hold. This is to reinforce moral values and draw inspiration from the biography and life of Lady Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), and what she represents as a sublime role model in giving, patience, chastity, and honor.
