The University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, visited today, Monday (15/6/2026), accompanied by the Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamia Abdul-Karim, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, and a number of faculty members from the College of Medicine, the Director General of the Holy Karbala Health Directorate, Dr. Ali Mohammed Saleh Abu Tahin.
During the visit, congratulations and blessings were extended to Dr. Ali Mohammed Saleh Abu Tahin on the occasion of assuming his new duties as Director General of the Holy Karbala Health Directorate, wishing him success and prosperity in performing his responsibilities to contribute to the development of the health sector in the governorate.
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance mutual cooperation between The University of Alameed and the Holy Karbala Health Directorate, particularly in medical, scientific, and research fields, to contribute to supporting the academic journey and elevating the health reality. This is in addition to expanding horizons of cooperation in the areas of training, medical education, and scientific research, serving the public interest and enhancing integration between the two institutions.
