The Al-Ameed University delegation participated in the proceedings of the 9th Annual International Conference on Information and Communication Technology. The event was organized by the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) in cooperation with Al-Zahraa University for Women, under the theme "Modern Trends in ICT Applications," and sponsored by the German publishing house, Springer.
The Al-Ameed University delegation was represented at the conference by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Maytham Hameed Al-Qanbar, and the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohsen Al-Sultani.
In an exclusive declaration to the University Media, the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohsen Al-Sultani, stated that the participation in this conference followed an invitation extended to the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine. He noted that it aligns with the University Presidency's directives to engage with international scientific conferences and enhance academic presence in specialized scientific forums, particularly in the fields of Information and Communication Technology, which are witnessing rapid development.
He pointed out that the conference constituted an important scientific platform for exchanging experiences and reviewing the latest rigorous scientific research and studies, in addition to expanding the horizons of academic cooperation with local and international universities and research institutions.
Al-Sultani added that Al-Ameed University is committed to supporting scientific research and encouraging active participation in international conferences. This contributes to raising the level of academic performance and enhancing the university's standing in scientific rankings, which reflects positively on both students and teaching staff.
