As part of the cultural and religious activities aimed at enhancing cognitive awareness of the biographies of great figures in Islam, and coinciding with the days of the holy month, the Male Dormitory Affairs Department organized a lecture titled "The Biography of the Commander of the Faithful (Peace Be Upon Him)." This comes within a series of awareness lectures shedding light on milestones in the life of our Master and Lord, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (Peace Be Upon Him).
The lecture was presented by the second-year student at the College of Medicine, Muntadher Mohammed Khazaal. During the lecture, he reviewed the most prominent historical stages in the life of the Commander of the Faithful (Peace Be Upon Him), addressing multiple aspects of his blessed biography. This included his birth and upbringing, the titles he was known by, the Prophetic Hadiths regarding his virtues, in addition to his stances in wars and battles, leading up to the incident of his martyrdom, the anniversary of which passed the day before yesterday. Furthermore, he referred to the books and studies written that addressed his fragrant biography.
The lecture witnessed the attendance of a number of dormitory students from various colleges. The attendees interacted with its themes due to the historical and intellectual contents it carries, which enhance the humanitarian and Islamic values embodied by Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him) in his life.
