Al-Ameed University participated in the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Tournament for Students, organized by the Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Student Activities Department. The event was hosted by the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf in cooperation with a number of Iraqi universities, running from December 14 to 23.
Al-Ameed University was represented in this tournament by a team of students from the College of Medicine. This participation falls within the framework of the university's efforts to support sports activities and enhance student talents, contributing to the development of students' capabilities and the building of their integrated personalities.
Dr. Hussein Hakim, Director of the Student Activities Department at Al-Ameed University, stated in an exclusive declaration to the University Media that this participation aligns with the university's directives to enhance positive interaction and cooperation among students from various Iraqi universities.
He pointed out that the tournament represents an important opportunity to exchange experiences and build relationships between students, in addition to prioritizing the development of their capabilities in both sports and academic fields.
He added that Al-Ameed University attaches great importance to student activities, as they represent a complementary part of the educational process. They contribute to honing students' skills and enhancing the spirit of belonging and teamwork.
