The College of Nursing organized a scientific workshop titled "Using the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) Program," with the participation of a number of the college's teaching staff.
The workshop aimed to introduce the mechanism of using the OMR program in grading exam sheets, due to the high accuracy and speed in extracting results it provides, as well as reducing the effort and time spent in manual grading processes.
The two-day workshop included a practical explanation of how to prepare test forms and the mechanism for reading answers using the approved technology. This was alongside presenting the most prominent advantages the program offers in supporting the educational process and developing evaluation methods, especially in assessment exams. Its themes were presented by Asst. Lect. Abbas Fadhil Musa, Asst. Lect. Ehab Al-Din Haider, and Asst. Lect. Alyaa Amer Kamel.
This workshop comes as part of the college's efforts to adopt modern technologies and develop the skills of the teaching staff, which contributes to elevating the academic level and improving the quality of the educational process.
