The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, received today, Saturday, 22/8/2026, a delegation from the General Company for Sports Investments at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, headed by Eng. Haider Jassim Al-Ghazi, Director General of the company, and comprising Mr. Majid Ghazi Al-Shawi, Assistant Director General, and Mr. Amjad Hamad Mohammed, Director of the Department of Administrative Affairs at the company.
During the meeting, avenues for joint cooperation between The University of Alameed and the General Company for Sports Investments were explored, particularly in organizing student sports and cultural activities and events, contributing to supporting students, nurturing their talents, and enhancing their engagement in university activities.
Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding scopes of mutual cooperation and coordination to achieve shared objectives and support programs and events that serve students and contribute to advancing the collegiate and athletic environment.
