The Council of Al-Ameed University held its fourth regular session for the 2025–2026 academic year on Monday, January 19, 2026, chaired by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashami, and attended by all members of the Council.
During the session, the Council discussed requests and proposals submitted by a number of faculty members as well as representatives of the students, and reviewed mechanisms for enhancing the quality of scientific research published in reputable international journals. The Council also addressed several academic and administrative matters, in addition to examining applications for academic promotion submitted by members of the teaching staff, in accordance with the approved regulations and instructions.
The session concluded with the approval of a set of recommendations aimed at supporting academic and research development pathways and strengthening the University’s standing within the scientific community at both the local and international levels.
