The University Presidency Honors the Lecturers Contributing to the Success of the Medical Detachments Course at the College of Nursing

The University Presidency, represented by the Assistant to the University President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Karim Abdul-Rahim, honored the lecturers who contributed to the success of the training course entitled "The Role of Medical Detachments in Providing Healthcare During the Arbaeen Pilgrimage." The course was hosted by the College of Nursing under the supervision of the College Deanship, in the presence of the Assistant Dean of the College for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ridha Mohammed Lefta Al-Taee.

This honoring came in appreciation of the scientific efforts exerted by the lecturers in delivering specialized lectures that contributed to enhancing the efficiency of the participants and equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle various health conditions that may accompany million-man pilgrimages, in alignment with the requirements of field work for medical detachments during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

The Assistant to the University President emphasized the importance of the training programs organized by the university in supporting scientific and practical aspects, indicating that the university pays great attention to initiatives that promote community service and contribute to preparing personnel who possess the competence and readiness to deliver the best services.

The organization of this course falls within a series of training programs that the university is keen to implement in preparation for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, stemming from its humanitarian and community mission and its belief in its role in supplying medical detachments with qualified personnel capable of providing distinguished healthcare to the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
