The University Psychological Counseling Division at our university organized a mourning council to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Greatest Messenger, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his progeny), held in the Imam Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Hall.
The council was attended by several university personnel and commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter Sayyid Hassanein Al-Jaza'iri. Following this, the Hussaini preacher, Sayyid Hussain Al-Safi, took the podium and delivered a lecture reflecting on the fragrant biography of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his progeny) and the sublime values and principles he introduced that laid the foundations of the Islamic message. He also highlighted the Prophet's blessed stances and journey in guiding the nation and consolidating the principles of mercy and morality.
Holding this council comes within the framework of the university's keenness to commemorate religious occasions, reflect upon the biography of the pure Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and foster spiritual and moral values among its students and staff, extending sincere condolences to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his progeny) and his pure household (peace be upon them) on this painful anniversary.
