Within the framework of practical activities for second-stage students of the College of Dentistry in the Prosthodontics Laboratory, the laboratory witnessed a practical application of the step of arranging full removable denture teeth (Denture Teeth Arrangement), which is considered one of the essential stages in completing full dentures.
According to the Head of the Prosthodontics Branch, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hussein Al-Sharbaity, the activity included the students selecting the appropriate artificial teeth and fixing them on the wax base according to approved scientific foundations. This was done while taking into account the achievement of correct occlusal relationships and aesthetic aspects, ensuring the attainment of integrated functional results.
This practical training comes in the context of enhancing students' applied skills and preparing them to deal with clinical cases with high efficiency. They demonstrated an advanced level of accuracy and commitment to professional standards under direct teaching supervision aimed at developing their laboratory and clinical capabilities, while providing an integrated educational environment that combines theoretical and applied aspects. This contributes to preparing qualified medical staff that meets the requirements of the labor market in this field.
