The University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, received a delegation from the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, within the framework of enhancing the bonds of joint cooperation and communication, and discussing ways of participating in cultural and religious events and activities directed at university students.
During the meeting, an official invitation was handed over to the university to participate in the Iraqi University Students' Procession, organized by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine on the occasion of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussain and his pure household (peace be upon them), as part of the programs and events aimed at consolidating spiritual, intellectual, and national values among students.
Dr. Al-Jashamy emphasized our university's keenness to contribute to cultural and societal initiatives and activities that contribute to developing students' awareness and enhancing their spirit of cooperation and belonging.
For its part, the visiting delegation expressed its appreciation for the warm reception, emphasizing the importance of consolidating partnerships with academic institutions in a manner that serves common goals in building a conscious generation committed to its human and national values.
