Gas Chromatography
Chromatography is one of the commonly used separation methods in many applications, as it is used to separate the substances that make up a given sample from one another. There are many types of chromatographic separation methods, and they differ depending on the sample whose components are to be separated and the application in which chromatography is intended to be used.
The naming of this type of chromatography as gas chromatography came from the fact that the mobile phase responsible for transporting the sample components is a gas. Gas chromatography is one of the most well-known and most efficient types of chromatography currently in use.
