Under the supervision of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul-Redha Hussein Al-Rikabi, the College of Pharmacy at our university organized a workshop titled "Curriculum Review and Update." The event targeted faculty members, as well as members of scientific and academic accreditation committees within the college.
The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Hameed Mohammed Maad, a faculty member at the college. He reviewed the approved scientific foundations for reviewing and updating curricula, outlining the steps for updates and the preparation of course specifications in accordance with modern academic standards.
The workshop aimed to enhance the concepts of continuous curriculum development and highlight the importance of periodic reviews of educational plans. This ensures alignment with academic accreditation standards, labor market needs, and recent advancements in pharmaceutical sciences, thereby contributing to elevating the quality of the educational process and improving learning outcomes.
