A delegation from Al-Ameed University, represented by the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohsen Al-Sultani, and the Official of the Umm Al-Banin (peace be upon her) Visitor Service Complex, Haj Majid Mohammed Al-Rubaie, participated in the activities of the central annual ceremony organized by the Qamar Bani Hashim Cultural Foundation.
The event marked the fragrant anniversary of the birth of the Mistress of the Women of the Worlds, Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her). The celebration included the Al-Zahra Grand Competition for memorizing the Fadakiyyah Sermon and the Sermon of the Chosen Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and his family) on the blessed Day of Ghadir.
The joyous ceremony was attended by a delegation representing the Wise Religious Authority, delegations from the General Secretariats of the Holy Shrines (Al-Alawiya, Al-Hussainiya, Al-Abbasia, and Al-Askariya), representatives of the offices of religious authorities in Basra Governorate, as well as other religious, political, academic, and social figures.
The attendees stood to commemorate the birth day of the Messenger's Kawthar, the Muhammadan part, the eternal good, and the secret of Allah upon whose knowledge the early centuries revolved, Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her). The ceremony concluded by honoring the representatives of the participating institutions and delegations. Upon their return to the Holy City of Karbala, our university's delegation presented the received honorary shields to the University President.
