Our university's 3x3 basketball team has qualified for the Round of 16 in the Universities Championship, after achieving a series of positive results that reflected an outstanding technical level and a remarkable competitive performance.
This qualification came during the championship hosted by Ashur Private University, as our team managed to achieve victory over the teams of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, Al-Israa, The Islamic, and Al-Mashreq universities, thereby booking its seat in the next round of the championship.
The Director of the Student Activities Department at our university, Lect. Dr. Hussein Hakim, stated that the championship was organized by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Apparatus / Student Activities Department. Our university team participated alongside various teams from 56 public and private universities from different provinces of Iraq, in a competitive atmosphere that contributes to enhancing the spirit of brotherhood among students and confirms the development of the level of university sports.
