The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department at Al-Ameed University organized today, Saturday (August 2, 2025), a Majlis of Mourning to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the grandson of the Messenger of Allah, Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (Peace Be Upon Him).
The event was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Maytham Hameed Al-Qanbar, along with several deans of colleges, department directors, and members of the academic and administrative staff.
The Majlis commenced with a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, delivered by Sayyid Muhammad Al-Mousawi. This was followed by a Husseini lecture delivered by Sayyid Dr. Sadiq Al-Murawwij, who ascended the pulpit to shed light on the virtuous life of Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (Peace Be Upon Him). The speaker elaborated on the Imam’s faith-driven and humanitarian stances, his sacrifices for the preservation of Islam, and the profound lessons drawn from his noble legacy in patience, wisdom, and reform.
This commemoration aligns with the university's commitment to fostering Islamic values and spiritual culture among its academic community.
