As part of the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to strengthening the practical aspects of pharmaceutical education and closely monitoring its students in the field, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rikabi, conducted a field visit to Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital, accompanied by the Administrative Assistant to the Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Thul-Fiqar Al-Bassam, to review the progress of the training program for fifth-stage students.
During the visit, the Dean met with the academic staff supervising the training as well as a number of students. Discussions were held regarding the implementation mechanisms of the practical training stages and the level of performance within the hospital. The Dean also listened to the students’ remarks and feedback about their field experience, emphasizing that these visits fall within the college’s strategic plan for continuous follow-up and coordination with health institutions, in order to enhance the students’ practical and professional competencies.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Dean expressed his gratitude to the administration and staff of Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital for their cooperation and ongoing support of the college’s students, appreciating the joint efforts that contribute to advancing pharmaceutical education and achieving integration between academic knowledge and practical application.
