The Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at Al-Ameed University organized, today, Wednesday (24/12/2025), a mourning gathering to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Abul Hassan Ali bin Muhammad Al-Hadi (peace be upon him). The event took place in the Imam Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Hall, attended by the University Presidency and a group of professors and staff, in sympathy with the Household of Infallibility and Prophethood (peace be upon them) on this painful anniversary.
The mourning gathering commenced with a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, recited by the medical student Ahmed Abdul Hussein. Subsequently, His Eminence Sheikh Mohammed Al-Kariti ascended the podium, opening his lecture with a sorrowful elegy in which he evoked the magnitude of the tragedy and its spiritual dimensions.
During his lecture, Sheikh Al-Kariti presented a fragrant overview of the biography of Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him), highlighting the oppression he faced and the suffering and persecution he endured in the prisons of Al-Mutawakkil Al-Abbasi. He reviewed the lessons learned from the Imam's blessed biography regarding patience, steadfastness, and supporting the truth.
This gathering is part of the religious and awareness activities that the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance is keen to organize, aiming to enhance religious values and consolidate the culture of loyalty to the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) within the university environment.
