Alameed University has achieved an advanced position in the 2025 Iraqi University Ranking, following the announcement by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the national ranking results. The ranking evaluated more than one hundred public and private universities across Iraq. Alameed University secured fourth place among private universities, achieving a score of 44.54 based on the approved ranking indicators.
The national ranking, prepared by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, assessed the performance of 103 public and private higher education institutions according to nine main criteria, including:
institutional accreditation, global rankings, research effectiveness, sustainable development and green indicators, evaluation of the scientific and academic environment and compliance standards, awards, international diversity, occupational health and safety and environmental protection, as well as activities.
This achievement reflects the outcome of strategic planning and institutional work at Alameed University, in addition to genuine investment in scientific research and the quality of education, further strengthening its position among Iraq’s reputable private universities.
