The College of Pharmacy at Al-Ameed University was opened with the goal of sustainable development in preparing competent pharmacists in the scientific field and community service.
The College of Pharmacy adopts rigorous curricula in teaching and learning by building academic partnerships with peers to achieve a scientific and research environment capable of providing effective pharmaceutical services to the community.
The College of Pharmacy includes multiple branches: the Branch of Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants, the Branch of Pharmaceutics, the Branch of Pharmacology and Toxicology, the Branch of Clinical Pharmacy, the Branch of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and the Branch of Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
The college provides a number of laboratories: Physiology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Computers, Clinical Pharmacy, Pathology Lab, Microbiology, Physical Pharmacy, Medical Physics, Pharmaceutical Computers, and Histology Lab.
The College of Pharmacy works on: enhancing academic partnerships with peers, enhancing quality and comprehensive improvement, consolidating professional ethics and pharmaceutical legislation, building pharmaceutical knowledge and skills, sustaining and marketing scientific research, and empowering continuing education programs.
