The Dean of the College of Medicine at our university, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, received the Dean of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at the Applied Science Private University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Prof. Dr. Wamidh Hadi Talib. The academic visit aimed at enhancing scientific and research cooperation between the two institutions and strengthening partnership ties in academic areas of mutual interest.
The meeting witnessed discussions on several topics related to developing cooperation in the fields of medical education and scientific research, alongside exchanging academic expertise. This was in addition to exploring mechanisms for implementing joint scientific programs and activities, thereby contributing to elevating the educational process and enhancing the quality of academic and research outcomes.
Both sides emphasized the vital importance of expanding the scopes of cooperation between the two universities by building effective scientific partnerships and exchanging expertise and successful experiences. This aims to support the academic development journey, foster excellence in education and scientific research, and achieve mutual benefits for students and researchers in both institutions.
