Alameed University Continues Its Participation in the Academic Educational Forum on Educational Philosophies and Policies

Alameed University continued its active participation in the Academic Educational Forum on Educational Philosophies and Policies, organized by the Alameed Educational Group under the theme: “Building an Islamic Educational Philosophy Between the Actual and the Possible”, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics and researchers specializing in educational studies.

The forum was attended by Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Al-Ali, President of the Scientific Quranic Assembly at the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, alongside Dr. Hassan Dakhel, Head of the Education Department at the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, in addition to several other academic and educational figures.

Alameed University was represented at the forum by Prof. Dr. Hassanein Adnan Murtadha, Head of the University Psychological Counseling Division; Assist. Prof. Dr. Jasim Mohsen Al-Sultani, Director of the Media and Government Communication Department; Assist. Prof. Haider Al-Araji, Director of the Continuing Education Center; Assist. Prof. Fatima Abdul Karim, Director of the Scientific Cooperation and Cultural Relations Department; Dr. Bushra Hassan Ashour, Secretary of the University Council; as well as a number of faculty members and university staff.

The second day of the forum featured a key scientific lecture delivered by Professor Khosrow Bagheri, titled “Stages of Human Development from an Islamic Perspective.” In the interactive segment, a special dialogue session was held with Professor Bagheri, discussing the effectiveness of Islamic educational philosophy in addressing the challenges of the digital age. The session witnessed active participation from attendees through questions and interventions addressing the current state and future of education amid rapidly advancing technological transformations.

Alameed University’s participation underscores its ongoing commitment to supporting substantive academic dialogues and contributing to the development of a contemporary Islamic educational vision rooted in intellectual authenticity while keeping pace with modern educational realities, thereby enhancing the role of academic institutions in serving society and advancing the educational process.
