Al-Ameed University received a delegation of representatives from Tokauyoama Company, one of the suppliers of materials for educational laboratories and clinical training facilities, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation with the College of Dentistry.
During the visit, the company’s delegation met with the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdulrahim, in the presence of the Assistant Dean of the College of Dentistry for Scientific Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nawras Baha’a Al-Hattab, the Director of the Educational Clinics at the College, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghanim Mahdi, along with a number of faculty members from the College of Dentistry.
The meeting addressed the possibility of supplying the college with high-quality materials from well-known and reputable international origins, in a manner that would support the practical and applied training of students and enhance the educational standards of the college.
For his part, the company’s representative expressed Tokauyoama’s readiness to provide these materials, with the possibility of organizing training programs for faculty members, students, and teaching assistants on their optimal use and handling. He also noted that these programs may include training courses held abroad.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Assistant President of the University presented a set of important and valuable observations that enriched the discussion, which were addressed by the company’s representative. In addition, the Assistant Dean and several faculty members expressed their remarks regarding the clauses of the prospective agreement to be signed between the two parties in the near future, in a manner that serves mutual interests and supports the academic mission.
