The College of Pharmacy at our university, under the supervision of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rikabi, organized a scientific lecture titled: "How to Be Successful in Job Interviews." It was presented by the faculty member, Lect. Dr. Kamel Kareem Atiya, in the presence of a number of the college's students.
The lecture aimed to introduce the skills for preparing for job interviews and the ways to present oneself in a professional manner that reflects competence and confidence. Furthermore, it reviewed the most prominent common questions in job interviews and effective methods for answering them, while providing practical advice on preparing a curriculum vitae (CV), managing body language, and mechanisms for dealing with the challenges that applicants may face during interviews.
The lecture also included the presentation of practical models and direct interaction with the attendees to answer their inquiries and provide them with realistic experiences that contribute to enhancing their readiness for the labor market, which supports their chances of obtaining suitable jobs that match their specializations and future ambitions.
