The Administration of Dormitory Affairs at Al-Ameed University, in cooperation with the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, organized a field visit for fifth-stage female students of the College of Medicine to the Shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in Najaf Al-Ashraf. This was followed by a tour of the Taiba Center for Thought and Knowledge, as part of its weekly program aimed at enhancing religious and cultural awareness among female students.
The visit included religious and educational lectures delivered by the center's scholars, which addressed prominent ethical and spiritual concepts directed at the students. Additionally, student Rawasi Abdul Hussein from the College of Medicine (fifth stage) presented an awareness lecture that enriched the visit's program with distinguished cognitive content.
In an exclusive statement to the Media Department, Ms. Azhar Jabbar Abbas, the official in charge of the Girls' Dormitory, said that these visits are part of the educational plan aimed at enhancing the value-based and humanitarian connection among students. She noted that the goal is to prepare an integrated educational and spiritual environment that contributes to building a solid university personality.
She pointed out that the Dormitory Administration continues to organize such weekly programs, which seek to support students psychologically and culturally, and to enhance communication with religious and knowledge institutions in Najaf Al-Ashraf.
She added that these visits leave a positive impact on the students' souls and provide them with an opportunity to learn about the guidance and awareness programs offered by intellectual centers.
