A delegation from Al-Jaafari Islamic School in Washington, USA, visited the campus of Al-Ameed University today, Saturday, April 19, 2025, as part of their tour of the holy Al-Abbas Shrine facilities. The delegation was received by several university representatives and conducted a field tour of the university premises, which included various academic and administrative departments such as the Central Library and the state-of-the-art scientific laboratories. The visiting delegation expressed their great admiration for the architectural and technological advancements witnessed at the university, as well as its distinguished academic environment.
Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Dhul-Fiqar Al-Bassam, Administrative Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy, delivered an introductory lecture to the visiting delegation, during which he reviewed the academic journey of the college, its academic system, educational and research laboratories, highlighting its key achievements and future development plans.
This visit comes within the framework of strengthening scientific and cultural relations between educational institutions inside and outside Iraq, reflecting Al-Ameed University's continuous efforts to build academic cooperation bridges with reputable educational institutions worldwide.
