oday, Saturday (May 17, 2025), the President of Al-Ameed University, Prof. Dr. Joudat Noori Al-Jashaami, honored both Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Zuwaini, Director of the Medical Education Unit, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamia Abdul Kareem, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Academic Guidance Division at the College of Medicine, in appreciation of their outstanding efforts during the current academic year.
The honoring ceremony was attended by the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Maytham Hameed Al-Qanbar, the Acting Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Hassan Nasrallah, and the Associate Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali Thul-Fiqar Al-Bassam.
This recognition came as an acknowledgment of their significant contributions to the development of the educational process within the college, in addition to the activities related to psychological counseling and community services organized by the Guidance Division, which positively impacted students and the wider community.
