Precision that Honors Effort, College of Pharmacy Enhances the University Examination System

Under the supervision of the Acting Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Dhul-Fiqar Al-Bassam, the college organized a specialized workshop titled "Management of Undergraduate University Examinations," targeting teaching staff to enhance awareness of examination procedures and regulations while elevating performance in managing the examination process.

The workshop lecture was presented by the Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul-Redha Hussein Al-Rikabi, who reviewed several key areas related to university examination management and organizational mechanisms in accordance with approved instructions and guidelines, ensuring maximum accuracy and efficiency throughout all stages of the examination process.

The workshop covered the duties of examination committees, exam administration procedures, and mechanisms for preparing exam papers while maintaining strict confidentiality, alongside approved methods for printing and handling. It also detailed procedures for grading answer booklets, entering marks into primary and electronic master sheets, defining invigilators' responsibilities and classroom protocols, and providing guidance on handling student matters during exams.

The workshop emphasized the importance of strict adherence to examination guidelines and regulations, highlighting its role in consolidating principles of integrity, transparency, and accuracy in academic work. It also aimed to unify procedures among teaching staff and relevant committees, thereby enhancing educational quality and contributing to rigorous academic outcomes.
