The Assistant President of Al-Ameed University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Maytham Hameed Al-Qanbar, held an expanded meeting with a number of department and division directors at the university. The meeting aimed to discuss the mechanisms of the ministerial university management automation system and the conversion of traditional paper-based procedures into integrated electronic programs, in alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research toward the digital transformation of universities.
The meeting addressed the practical steps necessary to adopt electronic systems in Human Resources operations and various administrative departments, as well as the student registration system and databases. This contributes to accelerating the completion of transactions, raising performance efficiency, and reducing human errors.
The Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Maytham Al-Qanbar, stated in a declaration to the university media that during the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of preparing the appropriate technical environment and enhancing staff skills through training workshops and courses. This is to ensure a comprehensive and effective implementation of digital transformation within the university, thereby raising the quality of services provided to students and staff.
