On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department at Al-Ameed University organized a Quranic forum for first-year students of the College of Dentistry, in collaboration with the Quranic Sciences Institute affiliated with the Al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine. This event is part of the university’s ongoing educational and spiritual activities aimed at instilling Quranic values among students.
The forum commenced with the recitation of a blessed verse from the Holy Quran, presented by student Musa Ahmed from the College of Medicine. This was followed by an insightful guidance lecture delivered by Dr. Ali Hamad Al-Galgawi, who addressed the significance of maintaining a strong connection with the Holy Quran in the life of university students and its profound impact on shaping a balanced personality.
The forum also featured a participation by one of the memorizers of the Holy Quran, who delivered a series of melodious Quranic recitations. Subsequently, a segment was dedicated to engaging students with questions centered around Quranic concepts and cultural knowledge.
The forum concluded with the distribution of recognition awards to the winning students in appreciation of their active participation.
