Al-Ameed University, represented by the Colleges of Pharmacy and Nursing, in cooperation with Harvest of Light Organization for Educational Development, concluded today, Monday (14/07/2025), the training workshop titled “First Aid and Crowd Medicine”, held in Imam Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Hall, as part of the preparations for the Arba’een visitors of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). The workshop aimed to train administrative staff and university students to serve within the medical units stationed at the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) Visitors’ Services Complex located on campus.
The two-day workshop was attended by the Administrative and Legal Assistant, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul-Rahim, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rikabi, several department heads, and students from both colleges.
The workshop covered both theoretical and practical aspects, presented by Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Dhul-Fiqar Al-Bassam, Assistant Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Redha Mohammed Lafta Al-Taie, and Dr. Ali Al-Aaraji.
The workshop concluded with a set of scientific and practical recommendations aimed at enhancing the participants’ efficiency in emergency situations and human crowd management. Participation certificates were distributed to all attendees.
