On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Ameed University concluded the activities of its First Annual Scientific Conference for discussing graduation research projects of fifth-year students. The event was held under the patronage of the President of Al-Ameed University, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Noori Al-Jashaami, and supervised by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rikabi.
The conference was attended by the Dean, along with the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider Faleh Al-Shamikh, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Thulfiqar Al-Bassam. They chaired several of the thesis discussion panels, with the participation of the college's academic staff as members of the specialized scientific committees overseeing the evaluation and discussion process.
The conference included a series of consecutive scientific sessions where the fifth-year students presented and defended their graduation projects. The research presentations were highly praised by the committees for their academic quality and methodological rigor.
This conference is part of the college’s strategic plan to promote a culture of scientific research and to develop students’ academic and research skills, in alignment with Al-Ameed University’s mission of preparing highly qualified and specialized academic professionals.
