Al-Ameed University received the Ministerial Committee delegated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research — Administrative and Financial Department / Human Resources Division / Employee Affairs Unit, tasked with overseeing the implementation of the “Study in Iraq” program. The visiting delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Maytham Hameed Al-Qanbar, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul-Raheem, Assistant President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, along with several Directors of Administrative Departments at the University.
The visiting committee was composed of Dr. Adnan Mohammed Shendi, Assistant Lecturer Intisar Saad Radi, Assistant Lecturer Ali Jalal Abdul-Hameed, Assistant Lecturer Bushra Adel Ali, and Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Mahmood Heilan.
During the visit, the committee reviewed the competencies of the staff members assigned to the program, ensuring the verification of their technical and administrative qualifications to contribute to the success of this project. The committee also evaluated the University's infrastructure and its readiness to host students within the framework of the “Study in Iraq” program, in alignment with the quality standards adopted by institutions of higher education.
This visit comes as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its academic presence on the regional and international levels and to affirm its position as a leading educational institution in Iraq and the broader region.
