The College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University conducted the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for sixth-year students in the field of Internal Medicine, under the supervision of the Acting Dean and Head of the Internal Medicine Department, Prof. Dr. Hassan Nasrallah, and with direct follow-up by the department’s coordinator, Assistant Professor Dr. Lamiaa Abdul Kareem.
The exam was administered under the oversight of an evaluation committee that included both internal and external examiners. The internal examiner was Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Zuwaini, while the external examiners were Prof. Dr. Sadiq Al-Mahna from the College of Medicine at the University of Kufa — a senior supervisor and examiner for the Iraqi Board of Internal Medicine — and Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Al-Saleh, Head of the Internal Medicine Department at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, who also serves as a senior supervisor and examiner for the Iraqi Board.
This activity is part of the college’s strategic efforts to ensure the quality of its academic outcomes and to enhance students’ clinical competencies in alignment with the requirements of modern medical education.
