On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, Al-Ameed University welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for a field visit aimed at monitoring the implementation of safety and fire prevention procedures—particularly in light of rising temperatures during the summer season.
The delegation was received by the University’s Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Maytham Hameed Al-Qanbar, and the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Jasem Mohsen Al-Sultani.
The visit included an on-site tour of several university buildings to assess compliance with ministerial safety regulations, ensure that flammable materials are not in use, and evaluate the university’s commitment to accident prevention protocols. The committee emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest safety standards to provide a secure university environment for students, academic staff, and administrative personnel.
