In a joyful atmosphere that brought together the students’ families and professors, Al-Ameed University celebrated on the evening of Wednesday, April 16, 2025, its graduating students from the College of Dentistry for the academic year 2024-2025. The event was filled with happiness, pride, and a profound sense of accomplishment for what the students had achieved throughout their years of study.
The celebration was attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashaami, the Administrative and Legal Assistant President, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul-Rahim, and the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assist. Prof. Dr. Samer Majeed Al-Nasrawi, along with other assistant deans, faculty members, and several department directors from the university.
The ceremony commenced with the graduates taking commemorative photos on the graduation platform, amidst applause and congratulations from their families and professors. The graduates then proceeded to Imam Al-Mujtaba Hall (PBUH) to perform the Graduation Oath alongside their professors, in an emotional scene that reflected their pride and deep affiliation with their noble profession.
The rest of the festivities continued in the university gardens, which were beautifully decorated for the occasion. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the graduates, in recognition of their efforts and appreciation of their academic journey.
Through such celebrations, the Presidency of Al-Ameed University reaffirms its continuous support for its students and its commitment to graduating specialized scientific cadres who contribute to serving the community and advancing the health, medical, and professional sectors in Iraq.
