The Dean of the College of Dentistry at Al-Ameed University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Samer Majeed Al-Nasrawi, held a meeting with the official of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the college, Educational Counselor Amir Raad. The meeting aimed to discuss a number of important files related to developing counseling services within the college and ways to enhance a supportive university environment for students.
Educational Counselor Amir Raad stated in an exclusive declaration to the university media that this meeting comes within the framework of enhancing the educational and guidance role within the college and setting practical plans that contribute to following up on student affairs and supporting them on all levels.
He added that the Psychological Counseling Unit seeks to develop qualitative programs dedicated to students, providing them with psychological and moral support, while emphasizing the importance of continuous cooperation between the Unit and the Deanship to achieve the best results.
He also pointed out that preparations for the central ceremony organized by the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine are proceeding according to joint coordination between the college and relevant parties, to ensure active participation befitting Al-Ameed University and its students.
