The College of Basic Education for Girls at Al-Ameed University, located within the Al-Ameed Educational Group, was opened in an effort to graduate effective female educators for both the academic and general communities.
The College of Basic Education for Girls was inaugurated in 2022 with three scientific departments: the Arabic Language Department, the English Language Department, and the Kindergarten Department. This was to supply Iraqi society with active female educators in the fields of kindergarten and the Arabic and English languages.
It was the first college in Iraq dedicated exclusively to girls at the time of its opening, with a four-year study period and under the supervision of a faculty actively engaged in the academic and scientific community in Iraq.
The college works to enable graduates to respond to educational needs, face challenges, and solve societal problems in partnership with corresponding academic institutions, while also consolidating scientific research.
The college aims to instill social values and virtues in its graduates, enhance academic partnerships, and promote quality and comprehensive improvement.
