As part of its preparations for the Arba’een Ziyarat of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), Al-Ameed University, represented by the Colleges of Pharmacy and Nursing, and in cooperation with the Harvest of Light Organization for Educational Development, organized a training workshop today, Sunday (13/07/2025), titled:
“First Aid and Mass Gathering Medicine”.
The workshop aims to qualify the administrative staff and university students to serve in the medical units stationed at the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) Visitors’ Services Complex within the university campus.
The workshop was attended by the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Maytham Hameed Al-Qanbar, the Administrative and Legal Assistant, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul-Raheem, in addition to a number of administrative department directors.
The two-day workshop includes both theoretical and practical sessions, delivered by:
– Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Dhul-Fiqar Al-Bassam
– Assistant Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Redha Mohammed Lafta Al-Taie
– Dr. Ali Al-Aaraji
