In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All praise is due to Allah—praise as vast and harmonious as the knowledge encompassed by His Divine Wisdom. May the most complete and perfect blessings and peace be upon the best of all creation, the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, the one sent as a Mercy to all worlds, to teach the people the Book and Wisdom and to frame that knowledge with the noblest of character—Abu al-Qasim Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and upon his Pure Household and his Chosen Companions. To proceed:
Since its founding, Al-Ameed University, with its diverse academic structures and qualified human cadres, has aspired to be a pioneering and leading model in the field of private higher education in Iraq. It has emerged as a distinguished academic edifice, recognized at both the individual and institutional levels within our beloved homeland, contributing effectively to the development of the local community through the provision of advanced scientific and practical knowledge to its students across all its colleges.
Academic study and scientific research are not the university’s sole mission. Rather, the provision of training and development programs that enable individuals to acquire the necessary skills to excel in the labor market represents another key responsibility that the university undertakes. The importance of these programs lies in empowering participants to keep pace with scientific and cognitive developments, rapid technological changes, and the evolving demands of the job market. This contributes to enhancing competitiveness at the individual and institutional levels, raising performance standards, and fostering innovation—all of which reinforce the culture of lifelong learning and creativity.
From a standpoint of responsibility and community service, these efforts extend to include individuals and institutions at both the provincial and national levels.
Through its Center for Continuing Education, Al-Ameed University endeavors to serve as a model of excellence in development, education, and training. Therefore, the Center—working in cooperation with the university’s colleges and departments—delivers specialized training programs, workshops, and lectures that respond to the needs of the local community, all while maintaining a deep commitment to academic and ethical values, guided by the vision and directives of the General Secretariat of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine.
In this context, the Center seeks to establish strategic partnerships with local institutions in order to provide opportunities for scientific research and vocational training that meet real-world needs. This effort contributes to creating a harmonious synthesis between knowledge and professional skill, thereby advancing the university’s vision to establish an effective educational, instructional, and training environment that stimulates fair competition in the job market and builds a prosperous nation in the service of our noble people.
Indeed, sustainable development is only achieved through continuity—and the continuity of minds and ideas requires continuing education.
And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
