The College of Pharmacy Council at our university held its regular meeting, chaired by the Acting Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Al-Bassam, in the presence of the council members, to discuss a number of academic and administrative matters concerning the progression of the educational process, and to explore mechanisms for advancing academic performance and elevating the level of educational services provided.
The meeting featured discussions on several topics listed on the agenda, foremost among them monitoring student and faculty affairs, reviewing approved academic plans and programs, and exploring developments in curriculum updates to keep pace with rapid advancements in pharmaceutical sciences, thereby enhancing the competence of educational outcomes and satisfying the requirements of quality assurance and academic accreditation.
The council also highlighted the importance of integrating efforts across the college's various departments and branches, and working in a spirit of teamwork to cultivate the educational and research environment and reinforce paths of scientific excellence in alignment with the university's orientations and vision for advancing higher education. Emphasis was also placed on following up on the implementation of issued decisions to support the college's scholarly journey and further the attainment of its academic objectives.
