The College of Medicine at our university conducted the practical exam (OSCE) for fourth-stage students for the academic year 2025–2026 (third rotation), under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha.
The exam included several scientific stations covering Communicable and Non-communicable diseases, Maternal and Child Health, Communication Skills, IMCI, Vaccination, and Breaking Bad News, which reflects the comprehensiveness of the assessment and its connection to modern clinical applications.
The exam was conducted with the active participation of doctors from the Karbala Health Directorate and faculty members of the Family and Community Medicine Branch, in the presence of the Administrative Assistant, Prof. Dr. Sattar Jabbar Rahi, and Dr. Salam Sahib, Consultant Physician and Head of the Arab Board of Family and Community Medicine in Karbala.
Lect. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Aliwi Jassim, Head of the Family and Community Medicine Branch, explained that the exam was characterized by excellent organization and smooth procedures, alongside the students' adherence to the approved professional standards, which enhances the quality of educational outcomes at the college.
