As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the educational environment and improve library operations, the Central Library at Al-Ameed University has recently enriched the library of the College of Basic Education for Women with a new and diverse collection of information resources. These included a range of updated books and scholarly materials covering both scientific and humanities disciplines, in line with its continued technical supervision of branch libraries.
In a related context, the Central Library also concluded a specialized training course on *EndNote* — a reference management software — aimed at enhancing the capabilities of branch library staff across the university’s colleges. The training was conducted by Dr. *Waseem Talib Al-Saeedi*, Director of the Central Library, and Mr. *Ali Imad Ismail*, Head of the Automated Systems Division.
These initiatives are part of the university’s broader strategy to support students and faculty members, while also strengthening the skills of library personnel in utilizing modern digital tools. Ultimately, they contribute to streamlining academic research processes in accordance with international standards and improving the overall quality of education and research at the university.
