The Central Library at University of Al-Ameed organized a training course titled "Modern Cataloging Standards According to RDA Rules and Library Quality Service Indicators," aiming to develop the technical and professional skills of personnel working in libraries and information services, while elevating the level of services provided to users.
The course featured a training lecture titled "Smart Cataloging Using OTObook Software and Employing Artificial Intelligence in Libraries," which addressed the latest methods and technologies adopted in cataloging, alongside mechanisms for leveraging artificial intelligence applications to organize information resources and develop library operations.
This course falls within the Central Library's ongoing efforts to keep pace with modern technological advancements, build staff efficiency, and apply international standards in cataloging and information services, thereby contributing to developing the library work environment and enhancing service quality for users.
