The College of Nursing has been holding the second scientific research discussion sessions for fourth-stage students, as part of the graduation requirements for the current academic year, under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Dhiaa Kareem Al-Bayati, and with the participation of a specialized scientific committee of the college's teaching staff.
The discussion committee included Prof. Dr. Ridha Mohammed Lafta Al-Taee, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Allawi Hussein Al-Ghanimi, Lect. Dr. Shahzanan Hassan Badr Al-Jabri, Lect. Dr. Ali Alaa Mahmoud Al-Hashimi, and Teaching Assistant Ali Jaafar Ali Al-Dhalimi.
The presented research addressed multiple health topics, reflecting an advanced scientific level among the students in employing modern research methodology, as well as their ability to analyze health problems according to approved academic foundations. The discussions also demonstrated an outstanding scientific interaction between the students and the committee members, which enhances their critical and research thinking skills.
This event comes within the college's strategy aimed at consolidating the culture of solid scientific research and enhancing the concepts of evidence-based nursing practice, in alignment with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards. The college pays attention to supporting outstanding research and directing it for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals, which contributes to raising the level of scientific solidity of the university and its colleges.
