The university received a delegation from the Academic Cultural Gathering, as part of its approach to openness towards educational, academic, cultural, and medical institutions. The delegation was received by the Assistant to the University President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul Raheem, and the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohsen Al-Sultani.
The delegation included a number of academics and media professionals, as part of their visit to the institutions and projects of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, among which is The University of Alameed.
The visit included a field tour of the university's corridors, covering the classrooms, scientific laboratories, and a number of its vital facilities. The delegation expressed its admiration for the level of advanced infrastructure, as well as the scientific and academic level that the university enjoys.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed its thanks and appreciation for the warm reception and generous hospitality.
