The University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, received the Head of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) Iraq Network, Prof. Dr. Hilal Bahjat Al-Saffar, on the sidelines of his attendance at the events of the College of Medicine, which held a special ceremony for the Peer Teaching Program (PTP) and honored the participants in the 2025 and 2026 editions of the program.
The visit witnessed the honoring of Dr. Al-Saffar, alongside the program organizers, in appreciation of their efforts in supporting the educational journey and enhancing students' medical skills, in accordance with the latest approved educational programs.
This was in the presence of the Acting Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamiaa Abdul Kareem, and a number of teaching staff from the College of Medicine, who emphasized the importance of the Peer Teaching Program in developing students' capabilities and enhancing their clinical and scientific skills, which contributes to elevating the academic level of the college.
This event comes as part of the university's commitment to supporting qualitative educational programs and opening up to reputable scientific institutions, thereby enhancing the quality of medical education and keeping pace with global developments in this field.
