On Wednesday morning, September 9, 2026, University of Al-Ameed hosted a developmental workshop titled "Guidelines and Mechanism of Performance Evaluation for the Year 2025–2026," organized by the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance in cooperation with the Department of Institutional Performance Evaluation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The event was attended by the Vice Presidents for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, along with all department directors.
The workshop, which involved university staff and personnel, highlighted key guidelines and standards approved for performance evaluation and the mechanisms for their implementation, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of institutional and academic performance and elevating university work in accordance with standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The workshop was presented by the Director of the Department of Institutional Performance Evaluation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Ali Khalil Dheeban, jointly with the Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division at University of Al-Ameed, Mr. Sarmad Abbas Majeed. They discussed the latest developments and instructions related to performance evaluation mechanisms for the 2025–2026 academic year and answered related inquiries.
Organizing this workshop falls within the university's commitment to consolidating a culture of quality and institutional evaluation while building performance efficiency among its staff, in line with its strategy toward continuous development and improvement.
